Thyroid / GSH research 2013:  this is self explanatory!!!
OBJECTIVES: read this and be informed

Oxidative stress has been implicated in the pathogenesis of several inflammatory and immune-mediated disorders including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (HT). The objectives of the present cross-sectional investigation were to estimate serum glutathione (GSH) status and the activities of its recycling enzymes in HT and to explore their interrelationships with biomarkers of autoimmunity and thyroid function.

CONCLUSIONS:

This is the first study to demonstrate a substantial reduction in GSH status in HT subjects. Secondly, the interrelationship between the GSH contents and TPO-AB titers in HT provides a preliminary data to support the notion that GSH diminution is a hallmark of in the events leading to oxidative stress activation and the development of immunological intolerance in HT.

GSH was put in our bodies to remove excess Oxidative stress,  you have to have adequate GSH to do its job,  please contact me for more information        have a great day

GSH / Thyroid / Research

Thyroid / GSH research 2015 awesome!!!!!
SPECIFICALLY THIS EVIDENCE INDICATES THAT THE MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE T4 TO T3 CONVERSION IS OXIDATIVE STRESS AND THE DEPLETION OF VITAL ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEMS SUCH AS GSH.
One of the major factors influencing the T4 to T3 conversion has been shown to be the antioxidant Glutathione. Glutathione is one of the most powerful antioxidants inside of the human body. Its ability to quench numerous free radicals is well documented, as well as its ability to detoxify numerous toxic metals, chemicals, xenobiotics and carcinogens. Depletion of glutathione may be due to numerous factors, including increases in oxidative stress and cellular toxicity.
It is critical to point out that glutathione is a “redox” molecule. Being a redox molecule means that it undergoes a cycle of “oxidation” and “reduction”.
A person who has a high level of oxidized, used up glutathione and a low level of reduced, usable glutathione is someone who has a good deal of cellular toxicity and oxidative stress.
Remarkably, there is a body of research that has found a direct correlation between improved T4 to T3 conversion with the use of Glutathione, this is rather remarkable, and has far-reaching implications for those suffering from a low T4 to T3 conversion.
Allowing our cells to replenish their own GSH daily is remarkably important to the entire body. Contact me for more information have a great day

Diabetes / eyes / nerves / GSH

Diabetes / eyes / nerves / GSH

Diabetes is not too nice to the body:

Diabetes causes damage to the nerves (peripheral neuropathy), which can affect your perception of heat, cold, and pain, making the person more susceptible to injury. This also makes it more likely that the person ignores an injury, especially if it’s in a difficult place to see, such as between toes, on heels, or the bottoms of feet.

Swollen, leaky blood vessels in the eye (diabetic retinopathy) can damage vision and even lead to blindness. Symptoms include floaters or spots in field of vision. People with diabetes tend to develop cataracts at an earlier age than other people. They are also more likely to develop glaucoma.

Did you know that GSH is highly concentrated intracellular in the eye, especially the lense!!! Our eyes require a great deal of help in detoxification.

Did you know that GSH maintains the nervous system, inflammation is removed by GSH, diabetic neuropathy does not develop when adequate GSH is intracellular.

You require adequate GSH to accomplish its jobs, please contact me for more information have a wonderful day

Research 2015: Abstract

Human body is continuously exposed to different types of agents that results in the production of reactive species called as free radicals (ROS/RNS) which by the transfer of their free unpaired electron causes the oxidation of cellular machinery. In order to encounter the deleterious effects of such species, body has got endogenous antioxidant systems that neutralizes such species and keeps the homeostasis of body. ANY IMBALANCE between the RS and antioxidants leads to produce a condition known as “oxidative stress” that results in the development of pathological condition among which one is DIABETES.

Most of the studies reveal the inference of oxidative stress in diabetes pathogenesis by the alteration in enzymatic systems, lipid peroxidation, impaired Glutathione metabolism and decreased Vitamin C levels.

Lipids, proteins, DNA damage, Glutathione, catalane and superoxide dismutase are various biomarkers of oxidative stress in diabetes mellitus.

Oxidative stress induced complications of diabetes may include stroke, neuropathy, retinopathy and nephropathy.

GSH is in high concentrations in the Pancreas to rid excess oxidative damage / free radicals. Also GSH is high concentrations intracellular in brain, eyes and liver. Unless you have adequate GSH how can your cells function to their optimum and how can you maintain health? Please contact me for more information, rid your oxidative stress and maintain healthy cells. Have a great day

Author information

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) type 1 is a chronic disease characterized by hyperglycemia and lacking of insulin. Oxidative stress participates in development and progression of DM, in which changes of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and glutathione (GSH) content were noted in DM mice. In this study, the effects of GSH supplement on anti-oxidation system in streptozotocin-induced DM type 1 Imprinting Control Region (ICR) mice were determined. The co-treatment of insulin and GSH significantly lowered the hepatic manganese superoxide dismutase (Mn-SOD), CAT, and GPx mRNA expression. Moreover, co-administration of insulin and GSH restored SOD and CAT activities to non-DM group except that of the CAT activity in the kidney.

The GSH contents and GSH/GSSG ratio in the mouse livers were normalized to the normal levels by the GSH treatment and the co-administration of insulin and GSH. These observations reveal that GSH supplement potentially has the protective roles in delaying diabetic progression via the improvement of antioxidant balance.

GSH / Diabetes

GSH / Diabetes

This is pretty explanatory,

Glutathione and Diabetes

Diabetes causes a significant decrease in the precursors needed to synthesize Glutathione in the body. Namely cysteine and glycine.

Patients with uncontrolled type 2 Diabetes almost always have a severe Glutathione deficiency. Glutathione is not only important for Diabetics to supplement, it is vital for a long and healthy life regardless of your health situation.

The ability of a cell to resist the damage caused by oxidative stress is determined by the capacity of an array of antioxidants. The most abundant and important of these defenses is Glutathione. Found in every living cell on the planet, it is critical to rid our cells of harmful toxins and heavy metals. Healing the damaged cells and helping prevent disease, cancers, neurological disorders and even helping to reverse the aging process.

Supplementing with Glutathione precursors, patients suffering with hyperglycemia can help restore their Glutathione synthesis, lower their oxidative stress levels and prevent / heal oxidative damage to their cells.

GSH is so very important, please contact me for more info, have a great day

GSH / Candida

GSH / Candida

I decided today to post the response to a question of why my white tongue – this was posted in my Leaky gut group!!!

The white coating is pretty much a sure thing of a systemic candida situation. I did not have to research far to see that systemic candida is very prevalent in the achalasia situation. In this case the systemic candida is mostly situated in the esophagus. Your white coated tongue is a symptom of this systemic candida.

I found this research from 2000

Increased apoptosis was associated with depletion of intracellular glutathione (GSH), and could be inhibited by the addition of exogenous GSH. These data demonstrate an important physiologic role for host-pathogen interactions in the resolution of inflammation and suggest that the response to an invading pathogen is an important stimulus to the restoration of normal immunologic homeostasis. The pathogen in this study was systemic candida.

So what this is saying is that GSH is used up in removing candida ( the pathogen) and the replenishing of GSH enables the cells to restore homeostasis.

GSH replenishing is so crucial for all systems, very much so the Digestive system

. I have clients that over time will remove their candida, then aid the cells to function to their optimum.

I know in your achalasia you have huge oxidative damage, you also have systemic candida, it goes without saying that you are depleted in your concentrations of GSH, if your cells were to be given the opportunity to replenish their own GSH daily you would see benefits, it would not be overnight however it would happen.

Please let me know if this makes sense to you. Please note also that there are a great number of companies that are promoting GSH for our cells.

There is only one effective method of allowing our cells to replenish, it is the Primary whey that delivers unaltered cysteine to our cells so they can replenish their own GSH, if you took any product that states they supply GSH to the cell you are wasting your hard earned money because the cell cannot accept the full GSH molecule, so any other product is only about 40% effective for GSH replenishing. GSH-I is 100% effective in aiding our cells.

This wk I am going to focus on Diabetes / GSH Just LOOK at this research from 2011!!!!!!!!

CONCLUSIONS Patients with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes have severely deficient synthesis of glutathione attributed to limited precursor availability. Dietary supplementation with GSH precursor amino acids can restore GSH synthesis and lower oxidative stress and oxidant damage in the face of persistent hyperglycemia.

HELLO!!!!! GSH-Immunity is the most efficient least expensive GSH precursor on the market. Please contact me for more info, I LOVE my job!!!!

GSH / Pancreas / oxidative stress

GSH / Pancreas / oxidative stress

Research from 2014: Pancreas / GSH
Our results indicate a deficit in the level of glutathione in the pancreas leads to imbalance in oxidant/antioxidant reactions.
Science knows that GSH is what our cells have to remove excess oxidative damage, you require adequate GSH to do so, if you have an illness you are deficit, allowing our cells to replenish their own GSH is crucial for cell health — organ health — system function = total body health.
